Kate Middleton: Spotted In A Red Jonathan Saunders Coat In Scotland
It's been a few weeks since the Duke, Duchess and Bundle of Joy of Cambridge concluded their Australian tour, thus ending the three-week period of seemingly constant Kate Middleton wardrobe updates. After 20-plus outfit changes and nary a hair out of place, being on Middleton Watch became a fixture in our daily routine—a practice which is sorely missed.
Until today, that is! The 32-year-old princess arrived in Scotland this morning—sans Wills and baby George—to pay a visit to the Strathearn Community Campus in the town of Crieff, clad in a red striped coat by Jonathan Saunders.
The Duchess has always been one to pay homage to her hosts by choosing designers, colors or patterns that appropriately reflect her people. Remember her custom-made Jenny Packham gown that saluted New Zealand's national symbol, the fern? In this case, she's giving Scotland a subtle nudge-nudge by opting to wear Jonathan Saunders, who hails from the Scottish city of Glasgow.
That Duchess, always so thoughtful.
