Lottie Moss Recreated Her Sister Kate's Iconic Calvin Klein Jeans Photo Shoot
It’s been a full 21 years since Kate the Great (Moss, duh) posed for her first iconic Calvin Klein campaign—and yet, that imagery manages to remain as fresh as anything that has debuted in 2014. It’s only fitting, then, that the task of representing the legendary brand would eventually get passed on to a model who shares Kate’s blood.
To that end, it’s none other than 16-year-old Lottie Moss who is now the face—and body!—of Calvin Klein Jeans’ brand-new venture The Reissue Project. Set to go live on July 15, CK Jeans is reissuing a capsule collection of denim pieces from the brand’s past, to be sold exclusively on luxury e-commerce site Mytheresa. The limited-edition range contains nine items from the brand’s ‘90s heyday that were first made famous in Kate’s 1993 Calvin Klein debut beside Mark Wahlberg.
Lensed by photog Michael Avedon, the campaign showcases Kate’s elfin-faced half-sister—who was just signed to Storm Models in January—in sweatshirts, tees, sports bras and, predictably, heaps of denim. We swear, it’s almost like a young Kate—not Lottie—is staring right back at us. To see Lottie’s Calvin Klein debut, click through the slideshow above.
