Mary-Kate And Ashley Olsen Finally Designed A Wedding Dress, And It's Perfect
We may have included a white, floor-length gown from Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen's brand The Row in our roundup of outrageously opulent wedding dresses earlier this month—but if you can believe it, the famous twins have actually never offered bridal designs as part of their editor-adored line. Until now, that is.
The Olsens recently designed their first-ever wedding gown—plus matching veil!—for their stylist pal Molly Fishkin, who tied the knot with producer/director Asher Levin in Los Angeles last month. "They are very close friends of mine and have been for the last 15 years," Fishkin told Vogue. "The minute I got engaged, they said they would love to design my wedding dress. I was thrilled—their taste is impeccable, and I really trust them. Their team was so incredible and patient with me. They were always so calming and made the process incredibly enjoyable. I will never forget what they did for me."
High praise, indeed! As for the all-over lace dress itself, it featured long bell sleeves, a portrait neckline and a subtle train. (There's a star cameo from Stevie Nicks, Fishkin's godmother, who serenaded the newlyweds with "Landslide" during dinner. Insert further jealousy here.)
