Farfetch Wants To Make Your Secret Favorite Boutique Shoppable Online
There's nothing worse than seeing a friend in something that you simply have to have, only to be told that they got it at some tiny boutique in the middle of Shanghai, thousands of miles away from you and impossible to get. Bummer.
Online luxury boutique marketplace Farfetch is changing the game when it comes to shopping local retail gems—and they've just upped the ante with their annual Superstore competition: a search for the next local store to be featured (and shoppable!) on their site. Voting is currently open on the six shortlisted finalists: Restir in Tokyo; Mahani in Dubai; Alter in Shanghai; Merchants on Long in Cape Town; Common People in Mexico City; or KOON WITH A VIEW in Seoul, South Korea. Having previously discovered Voo (in Berlin) and Le Mill (in Mumbai), we can't wait to see which of the finalists will be the next Superstore.
Until September 2, you can vote for the boutique you would most like to see join Farfetch, either by liking the boutique's photo on Farfetch's Instagram page, or directly through the Farfetch site—where you'll also find more details on the boutiques themselves. And to sweeten the deal, voters are automatically entered into a competition to win an all-expenses paid trip to the winning boutique and a $1,500 Farfetch shopping spree. Sounds like a win-win.
