WATCH: Gisele Bündchen’s New Gig With Under Armour Will Make You Want To Punch Something

Under Armour is really bulking up its womenswear presence—which, considering the rising popularity of activewear in general, couldn’t be coming at a better time. Last month, it unveiled its impressive “I Will What I Want” campaign, featuring pretty, otherworldly fit faces ranging from Misty Copeland to Lindsey Vonn. What it was missing, though, was a bona fide fashion force. Now, that gap has been filled, and dramatically so, with the help of Gisele Bündchen.

According to Forbes, Bündchen’s new, multi-year Under Armour contract is “the biggest of her 20-year career so far,” reportedly surpassing her five-year, $25 million deal with Victoria’s Secret. While they’re not divulging numbers, let’s just say I’m confident she’ll maintain her spot as the world’s highest-paid model come 2015. After all, Under Armour’s share price rose by four percent (to $71.13 million) yesterday immediately following the hiring announcement. The woman can sell clothes!

Bündchen’s first job as an Under Armour spokeswoman, revealed yesterday, was an absolutely killer—literally, killer—“I Will What I Want” campaign video. In the clip below, she takes it all out on a poor punching bag while a slew of judgmental tweets flicker against the studio’s walls. Body-wise, she’s as toned and taut as any of the professional athletes whom Under Armour’s tapped.

Says creative director John McKelvey: “We wanted to show a new side of Gisele—the unguarded, raw, real and brave side that shows what it’s like living in the public eye.”
