How-to (Tricks)
Velvet 101

Tricks for keeping this plush fabric looking great.
Ironing: To avoid crushing the pile, get a scrap piece of velvet and place it face up on your ironing board. Then press the garment face down onto it, so that the two layers cushion each other when the iron moves over them.
Storing: Hanger clamps can leave marks that will never come out, so when you clip a skirt or pants, slip a scrap of velvet, pile side down, between the clamp and the clothing.
