These short, menswear-inspired pants are cool and sophisticated in equal measure—just the right counterpoint to a sharp little shrunken blazer.
Putting it together:
- The trousers should be roomy but not too much so: Look for ones that are relaxed through the thigh but still body-skimming around the hips. A hem that hangs about four inches below the knees is best.
- For the most flattering silhouette, define your upper body with a cropped jacket over a longer top that fits snugly around the bottom.
- Delicate high heels lend this look a dose of femininity; just avoid ones with bright colors or fancy detailing, which can be overly girly.
