Make whites even brighter

Lucky How-To

For T-shirt underarm stains: Put your tees in the machine and add detergent as usual. When the basin is completely full of water, pop in an aspirin. Close the lid, let the cycle finish, and voilà: whiter T-shirts.

For yellow collars: Set an iron to medium heat with the steam option turned on. Sprinkle baby powder onto the collar until the stain is covered, and then rub it in with your fingertips. Hold the iron an inch above the soiled spot, and steam for a few seconds. Then press down the iron and count to three. Finally, shake off the excess powder.
