How-to (Fit)
Shift dresses and cropped jackets

Rebecca Greenfield
Putting it together:
- Go for one that hits mid-thigh: The short length will offset its roomy shape and lend a dose of sex appeal. To keep with the '60s mood, look for fun prints and sweet jewel necklines.
- The jacket should end right at your waist and have a straight, slightly boxy cut so it hangs smoothly over the dress: Any tighter or longer and it can cause awkward bunching around the hips.
- Neutral-hued wedge sandals, like these gladiators, elongate legs and complement the playful daytime feel of the outfit.
