My general feeling on colored eyeliner and work is: That’s Why They Call It Work. If work is dull and the colored eyeliner is a desperate attempt to spice it up, I say, accept that work is dull and rejoice that your actual life is exciting and throw on your wild eyeliner as soon as you’re out the door. The only exceptions might be navy, burgundy or beige. None of these would be okay if applied liberally or sexily; neither would brown or black. Tasteful and not-at-all-sexy is the only eyeliner option for the office.
