We Picked Out Some Potential Dresses for the 2013 Oscar Nominees

Awards season is drawing to a close, and the grand finale of it all, the Oscars, is fast approaching. The nominees this year are a refreshing change from the norm, like nine-year-old newcomer Quvenzhané Wallis and French talent Emmanuelle Riva, who's 85. We’ve seen some dazzling looks on the 2013 red carpets thus far (Jessica Alba in peach Oscar de la Renta, anyone?) and with its history of bringing out the newest couture and best Old Hollywood-style silhouettes, the Academy Awards surely won't disappoint.

Click through to see which looks we think the Best Actress and Best Supporting Actress nominees should consider. Do you agree with our picks?

Amy Adams

Nomination: Best Supporting Actress (for The Master)

Should Wear: Amy Adams' performance as the wife of the leader of a Scientology-esque movement had us forgetting all about her whimsical role as Princess Giselle in Enchanted. Her love of elegant silhouettes on the red carpet hasn't changed much over the years, though. We think she’d like this dramatic  off-the-shoulder Pre-Fall 2013 Zac Posen gown.
