We Picked Out Some Potential Dresses for the 2013 Oscar Nominees

Awards season is drawing to a close, and the grand finale of it all, the Oscars, is fast approaching. The nominees this year are a refreshing change from the norm, like nine-year-old newcomer Quvenzhané Wallis and French talent Emmanuelle Riva, who's 85. We’ve seen some dazzling looks on the 2013 red carpets thus far (Jessica Alba in peach Oscar de la Renta, anyone?) and with its history of bringing out the newest couture and best Old Hollywood-style silhouettes, the Academy Awards surely won't disappoint.

Click through to see which looks we think the Best Actress and Best Supporting Actress nominees should consider. Do you agree with our picks?

Jessica Chastain

Nomination: Best Actress (for Zero Dark Thirty)

Should Wear: Jessica Chastain gives a riveting performance as a CIA officer hell-bent on tracking down Osama Bin Laden in Zero Dark Thirty, and her red carpet choices have been just as dramatic so far this season. We loved the ravishing red Alexander McQueen she chose for the SAG Awards, and think she should continue the color trend with this beaded Spring 2013 Ellie Saab.
