We Picked Out Some Potential Dresses for the 2013 Oscar Nominees

Awards season is drawing to a close, and the grand finale of it all, the Oscars, is fast approaching. The nominees this year are a refreshing change from the norm, like nine-year-old newcomer Quvenzhané Wallis and French talent Emmanuelle Riva, who's 85. We’ve seen some dazzling looks on the 2013 red carpets thus far (Jessica Alba in peach Oscar de la Renta, anyone?) and with its history of bringing out the newest couture and best Old Hollywood-style silhouettes, the Academy Awards surely won't disappoint.

Click through to see which looks we think the Best Actress and Best Supporting Actress nominees should consider. Do you agree with our picks?

Quvenzhané Wallis

Nomination: Best Actress (for Beasts of the Southern Wild)

Should Wear: Quvenzhané Wallis plays a child prodigy living in the Louisiana bayou in Beasts of the Southern Wild, and her real-life style is equally genius. We find it so refreshing that the nine-year-old star dresses her age. Since Wallis has been spotted in a number of delightfully frilly party dresses, we think she’d love this pastel pink one from Oscar de la Renta's Spring 2013 childrenswear collection.
